Lepidoptera Breeders Association

The Lepidoptera Breeders Association is a UK based  privately ran enterprise which supports and promotes the study of Moths and Butterflies by practical hands on interaction. Captive Breeding programmes ensure the survival of many Lepidoptera species both British and Exotic. This practical approach offers the unique chance for all to experience the joy of rearing Moths and Butterflies and in turn promotes conservation, knowledge, education and awareness. We hope you enjoy this site and find the information useful.

MOTH NIGHTS

MOTH NIGHTS are a perfect way to see whats happening outdoors when normally you are cosy indoors! We recommend the months between May-September (Best trapping during June/July) Times can be tailored but from dusk until around 12:00-01:00am would suffice to see the majority of night flying moths and other insects. Groups not exceeding 20 can be catered for. Identification would be given on the night for most species. An indepth survey would require capture and daytime study for exact species and quantites.
Prices;
Standard MOTH NIGHT Dusk to 01:00pm = £75.00
Survey MOTH NIGHT All night and following day = £150.00
